What kind of smartphone or tablet do I need?

You need a smartphone or tablet with a Bluetooth version 4.0 or higher. The Bluetooth is stable with the renowned brands. However, it is important that you turn off your phone from time to time.

Why is the periode of use 6 months? And how often should I use it?

The 6-month period of use has multiple reasons.

Medical

The Laeq Health 3.0 should be used for a minimum of 6 months, to optimise the energy levels of the cells in the blood and, as a result, optimise blood circulation and blood values.

The Laeq Health has a fixed treatment protocol, completely arranged by the Laeq App, that is structured so that the mitochondria/cells are charged for at least one time a day to optimize the blood levels. If you want to become fitter or want more energy we advice you to use it twice a day.  Between the two sessions, a time interval of six hours is programmed for optimal results. No session can be startes within these six hours.

After about 6 months the body will usually be stimulated to such an extent that the cells can provide in their own energy needs again. But there are users who use the Laeq Health 3.0 because they are suffering from a genetic affliction that reduces their energy levels or blood scores.. These users will have to use the Laeq Health 3.0 for a longer period of time to experience optimal results. There are also users who continue to use the Laeq Health because blood values have improved so much that medication is not required anymore in some cases. After all, the use of Laeq Health does not have any side effects.

In addition, you can keep using the Laeq Health 3.0 to stay healthy and grow fitter. In addition to improved circulation and oxygen transport and improved performance, the Laeq Health 3.0 also ensures optimal functioning of the immune system, so you will be less susceptible to flus, colds and infections.

Affordable

In addition to delivering a high-quality product, we want to make the Laeq Health affordable for everyone. That’s why we offer a subscription model for around €1 per day. You pay € 62 once, and then € 31 per month. You will receive a new package every 6 months. It is worth mentioning that these costs are usually much lower than your health insurance and healthcare costs.

Can I only use the Laeq Health in my nose?

Because the blood vessels in the nose are closest to the surface and because the nose is the most easily accessible area, the Laeq Health has been developed specifically for treatment via the nose. It doesn’t matter which nostril you use for this. We strongly discourage use on other body parts and we do not support the effects that may have.

The leaq pbm clip is always falling out of my nose. What should i do?

There is a clip on the cord, which you can use to fasten the cord to your clothes. As a result, the full weight of the cord and the Laeq Connector will not be on the clip in your nose anymore, so it won’t fall out as easily.

Nasal mucus is released; should I clean the device during the treatment?

It is normal that some mucus is released when the Laeq PBM clip is in your nose. This will be worse when you have a cold. The monochromatic light shines right through the mucus, though, so cleaning during the treatment is usually not necessary. If you have a runny nose, you can remove the Laeq PBM clip briefly to clean it. If you do so, pause the Laeq Health app. You can then blow your nose, insert the Laeq PBM clip into your nose again, and resume the Laeq Health app

Can I also use the laeq health when exercising?

You can also use the Laeq Health when exercising, except when swimming. There is a chance that the clip falls out of your nose during exercise, and a chance of increased nasal mucus production, and breathing through the nose may be more difficult. Because you generally move more when exercising, it is important that the cord of the Laeq PBM is fastened to your clothing properly, so that the clip stays in place.

Why is every treatment 30 minutes long?

On the basis of proper research we have established that the best treatment duration is 30 minutes. Longer than 30 minutes results in an ‘overdose’, which could make you hyperactive and cause insomnia. Shorter than 30 minutes reduces the effect and results in reduced treatment effectivity. For fefety reasons we have set the maximum period of use to 30 minutes in the Laeq Health app, and the app also stimulates that the treatment lasts the full 30 minutes. Mainly during the first weeks, the effect of Laeq Health may be experienced differently. If you do not feel good with the treatment, reduce the treatment period as you see fit.

Can I pause a 30 minute session?

Although we do not recommend it, the app does offer the option to take a short break. However, the timer doesn’t stop. The time of your break is deducted from the session duration of 30 minutes. This will cause the effect of the treatment to decrease. With this system, we want to guarantee safe usage and prevent overdosing.

How often do I charge the laeq connector?

Normally a fully charged Laeq connector has a capacity of around several days. To prevent the unpleasant surprise of empty batteries, we advise you to completely recharge the Laeq connector at least every week.

I don’t have a computer to recharge the laeq health connector. What should I do?

The Leaq Health does not normally include a charger. You can simply purchase an appropriate charger from any electronics store.

Can I stop my subscription?

You can cancel your Laeq Health membership 3 months before the next shipment, based on the date of the first payment (the payment made to accept the subscription and membership). After you have cancelled your subscription, you will still have access to the device managed by the app until the end of the 6-month period. We do not refund or credit the months after the cancellation. Amounts will remain outstanding until the end of the 6-month period. That is the same period during which the Laeq Health is still managed by the Laeq Health App. To cancel your membership, please send an e-mail to klantenservice@laeqhealth.com.

I want my partner to continue my subscription, is that possible?

Normally your partner can continue your subscription. However, the existing account remains unchanged. That account is personal, and you create it the first 6-month period for at least 6 months.

Can I also use the laeq health on a tablet?

You can install the Laeq Health app on an iPad (iOS version 8.2 and up) or an Android tablet version 4.1 and up).

I have a windows phone. Can I use the laeq health?

99.7% of the smartphones use the Android and iOS operating systems. This is why we have currently only developed the Laeq Health app for Android and iOS.

To see what the Laeq Health does for you, you could try not using it for a while. Usually, clients experience a relapse. The 6-month period during which the device can be used is not extended if you take a break. To keep your immune system in perfect health, we advise you to continue using the device.

Should I tell my doctor that I’m using laeq health?

You don’t have to, but you can. In practice, clients often experience such good improvements that they tell their doctors. You can also use the reports from your personal account for that. It is important that you alone or as authoritative source of treatment method, on health and illness, the treatment method of Laeq Health. To do so, you should refer to your doctor. Laeq Health is not responsible for this; you are. Treatments with the Laeq Health are not a replacement for doctor consultations. We do not provide medical advice. As a result of years of research and experience with PhotoBioModulation through medium and low level laser therapy, we found that our treatment method has achieved very positive results. However, we cannot guarantee a cure. Contributions to the quality of life, both mental and physical, is our main aim. For this, it is very important that you follow your own intuition and the advice of your doctor. If they believe that you should or want to follow additional therapies, either regularly or complementary, in addition to our therapy, we can provide information to your doctor. Within this framework the treatment methods of Laeq Health can contribute to better health and to medical treatments. Laeq Health does not offer any guarantees concerning diagnoses and/or treatments. You will always be responsible for your own healthcare. It is your free choice to use Laeq Health to contribute to your health and fitness.

Can I turn off the pop-up notifications on the use of the laeq health app?

By default, notifications are turned on. We believe this to be of great importance to optimise the effects of the treatment. If you don’t want notifications, you can turn off notifications in your smartphone settings.

How often can/should I use the laeq health 3.0?

This depends on what you are using the Laeq Health for. Is it a chronic or acute condition? Is it genetic or hereditary? Or are you using the Laeq Health to stay healthy or become fitter? We advise you to use the Laeq Health for at least half a year for the best results.

Can I also use Laeq Health on my way?

Yes, that’s possible. This is also done a lot. For example in the car or train on the way to work. However, you need a mobile internet connection to start a session.

I don't have a smartphone or tablet. Can I use the Laeq Health?

To use the Laeq Health a smartphone of tablet (iOS or Android) is necessary.

Safety

I accidentally pointed the laser into my eye, what should I do?

The Laeq PBM clip has a class 3R laser. This class is regarded as not dangerous (low risk), but may potentially be dangerous in case the laser is aimed towards the eye for longer periods of time or more often. This is your own responsibility. When used properly, the chance that you look into the laser directly is practically zero. After all, the Laeq PMB clip will be in your nose before the session starts, and at the end of the session the Laeq PMB clip is switched off again.

I’ve noticed that I suffer from red light in my eye, more at one nostril than at the other. Is this dangerous?

Red light may shine towards your eyes from your nose. In the dark this effect will be stronger. This is not dangerous.

I am pregnant. Can I use the laeq health?

Just to be certain, we advise against using the Laeq Health during your pregnancy, even though we do not know of any direct risks or negative experiences. If you want to continue or start the treatment, please consult your doctor first. If requested, we can provide the required information on the working of Photobiomodulation via Laeq Health.

What happens if I plug my headphones into the laeq connector?

We discourage the use of the Laeq connector to connect other devices than the Laeq PBM clip. The Laeq connector is secured. If the Laeq Health app is turned off, the Laeq connector cannot be used. The plug is not charged, so if headphones or other devices are connected, nothing happens.

Should I keep my smartphone with me during a session?

To use the Laeq Health, your smartphone (or tablet) should be connected via Bluetooth to the Laeq connector. By operation of the app, the Laeq Health is switched on at the start of a session and switched off at the end of a session. For safe use, we advise you to always keep your smartphone with you during a session.

Is the treatment and equipment safe? What are the long-term effects?

This has been investigated by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration from the US, the strictest medicine and medical equipment research organisation in the world). They found that Low Level Laser Therapy is safe and that there are no side effects. Not even in the long term. In the US they have more than 30 years of experience and the results from various studies.

I'm an athlete, why should I use the Laeq Health?

For every athlete, the Laeq Health home laser is a very effective addition to accomplish your goals. You get more results from your training work and  you recover faster! Daily use of the Laeq Health leads to better blood flow, more active red blood cells, better oxygen intake and better oxygen transport. As a result, higher stamina, faster nutrient uptake, better energy delivery to your muscle tissue and faster waste disposal. This will increase recovery after training and reduce acidification.

I don’t have a condition like fibromyalgia, ME or CFS. Can I still safely use the device?

The Laeq Health can not only be used to get better, but also to stay healthy and grow fitter. It is intended for everyone who chooses to stimulate the body in a natural way and to feel good.

Purchase

If I order multiple laeq health devices, can I use the same name and password?

You can order as many devices as you want. However, every Laeq Health should be activated individually, so you can’t use the same name and password.

I want to surprise my family. How does that work?

You can enter your order in our webshop. The delivery address can be different from the billing address. That way, you can have the Laeq Health delivered to the address of your family and surprise them. Per order, you can enter 1 different address.

I paid for a year, but I want to stop. Will you refund the remaining time?

When you purchased our 12-month offer, you received two packages. You can return your second package to us, unopened and in the original packaging, and if you do so, we will refund the annual price minus the amount that you would have paid for 1 package, including costs. Shipping costs are your responsibility. This cancels the advantage of the 12-month offer over the 6-month offer.

How long does it take before I have my order?

If the Laeq Health is in store, it will be delivered within several workdays. (Europe).

Troubleshooting

I use an Ipad, but can not find the Laeq Health app!

When you look in the app store at iPhone app’s you will find the Laeq Health app.

The Bluetooth connection causes problems

If you have Bluetooth 4.0 on your smartphone or tablet, the Bluetooth must work. Some cheaper brands phones sometimes have a lesser quality chip. We can not do anything about that.

For a good working Bluetooth connection, it is important that you switch the Smartphone or tablet off and on again regularly. This has solved the problem in many cases. When it does not work on your smartphone, you can also control the Laeq via your tablet, provided it has Bluetooth 4.0 or higher.

The Laeq PBM laser clip is not working, what do I have to do?

If there is no light from the Laeq PBM clip, it can have two causes. The Laeq PBM clip is in spite of quality control broken, or the plug has not been fully pressed into the Laeq connector. When the plug is pushed fully into the Laeq connector and the battery is charged, then please contact our customer service.

I can not start the session

If you start the Laeq app you need an internet connection. This is necessary to register the data in your personal environment.

So you need Wifi or a 3G / 4G internet connection. This is only necessary at the start of a session.

If you are on holiday abroad, users choose to switch on the Internet connection for a short period of time and immediately switch off again after the start of the session. This prevents unnecessary costs.

I see no light on the Laeq connector.

Turn on the Laeq connector when it is switched off. If the battery is empty, charge the Laeq connector completely. Otherwise please contact customer service.

The PBM Laeq clip does not close properly to Laeq connector.

Press the Laeq PBM Clip into the connector. If unsuccessful, contact customer service.

Can I buy a new Laeq PBM clip? Mine is broken.

What guarantee conditions apply?

For the Laeq Health products a warranty period of 1 year from date of purchase is valid. After activation of the Laeq Health the warranty period is six months. For other warranty, please refer to the manual.

Am I asked to enter a user name and password?

When activating your Laeq Health in the Laeq Health app, you will be asked for an e-mail address, a user name and a password.

Can I create an account right away?

You can immediately create an account using the Laeq Health app. As soon as you have created your account, you can activate the Laeq Health using the QR code supplied, and then the device will be ready for use. You can also consult your own information by logging on to ‘My Laeq’ on our website, www.laeqhealth.com.

How can I get a report?

You can consult your own information by logging on to ‘My Laeq’ on our website, www.laeqhealth.com.

Which reports can I generate?

Depending on your purchase reason, you will be asked a number of questions. These questions are intended to give insight into your a) pain scores, b) sleep pattern and c) energy scores. In addition, you can track your therapy compliance in the app and the reports.

I forgot my password, what should I do?

You can indicate in the app that you lost your password. We will then send a new password to the e-mail address we have of you in our database.

Privacy

What do you measure? Why?

The app regularly asks you to indicate how you feel. This depends on why you are using the Laeq Health. This information is stored in your personal file, which you can access via ‘My Laeq’, so that you can see how you are progressing.

What do you do with my personal information?

Laeq Health uses this information in a database, and it will be anonymised in such a way that you cannot be traced. We aim to improve the quality of the Laeq Health products and applications and gain insight into the results of using of the Laeq Health devices per target group.
